Jim Lake, Sr.Founder of Jim Lake Companies
1930-2003
After a successful career with IBM, Jim entered the real estate business and in 1964 he formed Jim Lake Companies and built the first office/warehouse in Plano. Over the years he developed over 2,000,000 square feet of office and office/warehouse space in Dallas. Jim had a generous heart and an incredible work ethic, and his greatest joy was giving back to his community, such as a Founding member of the Dallas Aboretum and Chairman of the Dallas County Appraisal District. Jim received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree in 1998 from Northwood University in recognition of his outstanding service to Dallas. As President of the Dallas Parks Foundation, he partnered with Trammell Crow to conceive and develop city property into Pioneer Plaza, the internationally acclaimed largest outdoor bronze sculpture in the U.S. In 2005 he was inducted to the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors "Hall of Fame".

Richard JohnsonPresident of Jim Lake, Inc. Realtors
Richard "Dick" Johnson entered the commercial real estate field in 1968 and joined Jim Lake, Inc. Realtors as Vice President in 1996. He specializes in sales and leasing of industrial properties. Throughout the years he has represented over 100 clients in the sales and leasing of over 3 million square feet of space and over 1,250 acres of land. The volume of his transactions has totaled more than 110 million dollars. Dick is a 1955 Graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He is married with two children and is a Deacon at Park Cities Baptist Church.

Diane WilliamsCommercial Sales and Project Leasing
Diane graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Education and Special Education. She joined Jim Lake Companies in 1999 as the Leasing Director and specializes in sales and leasing of Jim Lake Companies owned industrial properties. Diane Williams was Jim Lake Companies top producer in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Jamie SlagelNew Property Analyst and Asset Manager
Jamie holds a Masters in IMSE and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering as well as the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. She is responsible for providing the cost analysis and investment detail and brokerage services on over 30 million dollars of real estate transactions and investments. Before joining Jim Lake Companies in 2001, Jamie held a number of key positions at IBM primarily involving New Product Introduction and Cost/Project Management activities. Outside the office Jamie is busy with her husband Douglas and children, Becca and Joseph, traveling and redeveloping their own home. Her long term vision for herself and her family is to learn, produce, change and challenge.

Ken has over 20 years experience in commercial leasing and management. He is actively involved in the leasing and management of over 800,000 square feet of property which includes office/warehouse and office/showroom. He holds the Certified Property Manager designation and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management. Ken graduated from Texas A & M University with a B.B.A. in Marketing.

Rene has worked for Jim Lake Companies since 2000 and has been involved with most aspects of the business. She performs as the Executive Assistant & Investor Relations/Partnership Liaison. Additionally, Rene is the Lease Administrator for Jim Lake Companies.

Leslie ToomayPublic Relations/Marketing
Leslie joined Jim Lake Companies in 2006. She is responsible for the company's public relations, marketing and advertising. In addition, Mrs. Toomay organizes the Company's special events, such as the annual Slocum Street Style and Design on Dragon. She received a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Previously, Leslie was the Director of Catering at Avanti Fountain Place.

Asa PettigrewProperty Manager
Asa has been with Jim Lake Companies for 1 year. He is responsible for property management and leasing of over 900,000 sq. ft. of property which includes office/warehouse and office/showroom. Asa graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in History from Texas Tech University. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1995 until 2001. Asa has a background in construction and business management and is involved in several civic organizations.
