Jim Lake, Sr. — Founder of Jim Lake Companies
1930-2003After a successful career with IBM, Jim entered the real estate business and in 1964 he formed Jim Lake Companies and built the first office/warehouse in Plano. Over the years he developed over 2,000,000 square feet of office and office/warehouse space in Dallas. Jim had a generous heart and an incredible work ethic, and his greatest joy was giving back to his community, such as a Founding member of the Dallas Aboretum and Chairman of the Dallas County Appraisal District. Jim received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree in 1998 from Northwood University in recognition of his outstanding service to Dallas. As President of the Dallas Parks Foundation, he partnered with Trammell Crow to conceive and develop city property into Pioneer Plaza, the internationally acclaimed largest outdoor bronze sculpture in the U.S. In 2005 he was inducted to the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors "Hall of Fame". |

Jim Lake, Jr. — CEO/Partner
After graduating from Baylor University in 1981 with a BBA in Real Estate, Jim began his career that same year as a general broker with the Swearingen Co. In 1985, he left Swearingen and entered the development business at Jim Lake Companies. After weathering the commercial real estate recession of the late 1980’s, he co- founded Jim Lake, Inc. Realtors in 1991, and later formed Jim Lake Partners, LLC to focus on acquisitions of existing buildings and specialize in adaptive urban redevelopment. While Jim was coaching over 40 little league teams for his children, he found time to serve on the University Park Board of Adjustment for 9 years and began serving on the Steering Committee for the Davis Land Use Study for North Oak Cliff in 2008. In 2009, he began serving as a board member for the Stemmons Corridor Business Association and actively volunteers for varied ministries through Park Cities Baptist Church.jimlake@jimlakeco.com |

B.H. Morgan, Jr. (Mike) — Partner
Mike holds a B.B.A in Real Estate and Marketing from Southern Methodist University and has over 45 years of experience in construction, leasing, management and development exceeding over 8 million square feet. Mike not only co-founded Jim Lake Company in 1976, he also co-founded Jim Lake, Inc. Realtors and is President of Lake-Morgan Construction Company and Jim Lake Management Company, Inc. In addition to his leadership within Jim Lake Companies, Mike served on the Commission to rezone the Dallas Design District (PD-621), the Trinity Trail Board, Dallas Design and Arts District Board and Trinity Commons Foundation Board. Jamie Slagel — Operations and Investments
Jamie is responsible for the Operations and Investments at Jim Lake Company. Before joining Jim Lake Companies in 2002, Jamie held a number of key positions at IBM in New Product Introduction and Cost Management. Jamie holds a Masters in IMSE and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, as well as the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and LEED AP designations. René Lopez — Investor & Employee Relations
René has been working with the Jim Lake Companies team since 2000 and has been involved in most aspects of the business. She began her work with our company as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted to her current position in 2004. Mrs. Lopez not only performs as the Investor & Employee Relations liaison, but also as the Executive Assistant and Marketing Specialist. Outside of business, she is married and has four children. Diane graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Education and Special Education. Todd graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1998. Shannon McGlasson — Property Manager
Shannon joined Jim Lake Companies in March, 2010. She began her construction career with developers in the Deep Ellum & McKinney Avenue area. In 2002, she joined Panattoni Construction as a project administrator and in 2005, worked into the property management position with PDC Properties. Shannon was responsible for managing 1.2 million square feet of industrial, office and retail properties as well as managing the various Associations. In 2009, Shannon received her real estate license & broadened her experience with Lincoln Harris CSG managing medical office buildings which included completing numerous tenant improvement & common area upgrade projects. Leslie Toomay — Public Relations/Marketing
Leslie joined Jim Lake Companies in 2006. She is responsible for the company's public relations, marketing and advertising. In addition, Mrs. Toomay organizes the Company's special events, such as the annual Slocum Street Style and Design on Dragon. She received a B.S. in Advertising with a minor in Business and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. Richard "Dick" Johnson entered the commercial real estate field in 1968 and joined Jim Lake, Inc. Realtors as Vice President in 1996. He specializes in sales and leasing of industrial properties.
